The key to improving South Africa’s education system lay in learning from the past, Premier Zweli Mkhize said.
Speaking at the South African Basic Education Conference in Durban on Tuesday, Mkhize said that in the light of the centenary celebrations of the ANC, the history of its leaders who used education as an instrument of change needed to be remembered.
“We must look at how we can continue to use education as a tool for social change,” Mkhize said.
